Our porcini mushrooms are harvested from the fertile forests that have nourished Romanian foragers for centuries. The distinctive terroir—where cool mountain air intersects with mineral-rich soil—forms ideal conditions for porcini mushrooms akin to those from Italy.

Frequently asked questions
Where do your truffles come from?
All of our truffles are sourced from the Carpathein mountains of Romania, known for their ancient oak and hazelnut groves that provide the perfect conditions for truffles to develop rich and complex aromas.
Are your truffles fresh or preserved?
We specialize in fresh, seasonal truffles, delivered within days of harvest to preserve their full aroma and texture.
When is truffle season in Romania?
Our Black Fall Truffles (Tuber uncinatum) are harvested from September through December, while Summer Truffles (Tuber aestivum) are available from May through August. Availability is dependent on seasonal conditions and forest yields, with white truffles being available from October to January.
How should I store my truffles?
Store your truffles in the refrigerator, wrapped in a paper towel or breathable cloth inside an airtight container. Change the wrapping daily and consume within 7 days for peak freshness.
Can I freeze truffles?
We do not recommend freezing fresh truffles, as it diminishes their aroma and texture. However, if necessary, truffles can be vacuum-sealed and frozen for short-term preservation, with minimal flavor loss when used in cooked dishes.
